Senior Civil Engineer

Salary up to £50,000

I am actively seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Chelmsford. You will assist in managing one of their busiest civil teams where you will have the opportunity to be a part of their growing division, taking part in highway and drainage infrastructure design.

It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:

• A relevant Civil or Structural Engineering degree
• A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
• Either chartered or working towards a Chartership
• Experience with relevant software skills, i.e, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage

Duties and responsibilities for this Senior Civil Engineer include:

• Demonstrating your experience and providing technical guidance
• Ability to provide design strategies whilst overseeing and guiding junior staff
• Manage and develop technical capability through CPD, by arranging and attending internal and external training seminars frequently
• Understand and implement Designer's duties under the CDM Regulations 2015.
