Senior Claims Adjuster - Casualty

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very well established and highly regarded London Market Insurer.

The key purpose of the role is to handle a portfolio of UK Primary EL/PL Claims, as well as some International Binders Claims, as efficiently and promptly as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigating and resolving complex UK Primary EL/PL Claims in a professional manner.
• Supporting the regulatory and legislative response and adherence to standards, embedding any required change or mitigation required within the designated claims portfolio.
• Supporting the implementation of the claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets.
• Producing regular statistical and analytical Claims information to Portfolio and Risk Managers, as well as the senior management team.
• Developing and maintaining sufficient knowledge of the Claims portfolio to enable and provide an excellent Claims handling service with minimal leakage.
• Assisting with the preparation and implementation of the operational team plans, ensuring that they are in line with the wider business strategy.
• Supporting the Senior Claims team with the production of Management Information reports.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience in handling UK and/or International Liability / Casualty (EL/PL) claims within an insurer / carrier / loss adjusting / TPA / environment or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
