Senior Cloud Systems Engineer (Platform Engineering)

Salary: Up to £92,000

Hybrid Model: 3 days a week onsite

Their London practice is particularly known for its strengths in M&A, banking and finance, capital markets, dispute resolution, and project development and finance.

About you: Senior Cloud Systems Engineer Join us as a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer focusing on Microsoft technologies. You'll play a crucial role in architecting, and deploying. You will spearhead Microsoft 365 implementation with a focus on SharePoint Online, Purview Services, and Copilot integration while maintaining robust security protocols and compliance standards across the M365 environment. Your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive Purview operations for data protection and governance, alongside delivering technical expertise and platform stability through proactive monitoring and support. You'll also drive continuous improvement by staying current with emerging technologies and implementing industry best practices to optimize system operations across the organization's cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and management of Microsoft 365 solutions, emphasizing SharePoint Online, Purview Services, and Copilot/Copilot Studio integration
• Maintain security protocols for M365 and Copilot environments, encompassing identity management, security controls, data protection, and security operations
• Create and implement security policies alongside IT and security teams to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Execute security audits and compliance reporting to track improvements and ensure data protection compliance
• Oversee Microsoft Purview deployment focusing on data protection, governance, compliance, and risk management
• Leverage Purview for policy enforcement and data classification monitoring in Copilot Studio
• Ensure platform stability through proactive monitoring of system performance, availability, and scalability
• Deliver technical expertise to engineering teams for M365, Purview, and Copilot-related challenges

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years Microsoft 365 full stack engineering experience
• Proven track record in application and infrastructure architecture, with strong conceptual abilities
• Advanced PowerShell expertise and enterprise-scale automation experience (e.g., DSC)
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing, particularly Azure platforms
• Relevant Microsoft certifications in M365 and Purview (Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals; Information Protection Administrator preferred)
• Demonstrated success in M365 service deployment and optimization; extensive Purview platform knowledge
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, specifically Azure and M365 ecosystems
• Strong collaboration skills working with technical experts and stakeholders across cultures
