Senior Commercial Account Handler - Surrey
45k - £55k (Subject to Experience) Plus Bonus & Benefits and Hybrid Working
Our client is a highly respected, reputable and forward thinking insurance broker. They are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Insurance Account Handler to look after a lucrative existing book of clients and support the continued growth of the business. In addition, the successful applicant will support and mentor junior team members as well as the Directors and Account Executives with strong team ethics and quality working standards. You will be an experienced Commercial Broker with previous track record managing clients, identifying new opportunities, account handling and broking of existing and new business. This opportunity includes hybrid working
Duties:
- To contribute towards the Commercial team’s achievement of forecasts, plans, programmes and budgets.
- To maintain appropriate, regular contact with existing customers and ensure their insurance requirements continue to be met in line with service levels.
- To work closely with Account Executives and other Account Handlers where necessary, to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Make certain that files, notes and other records are clear, complete, up to date and available to other staff standing during periods of absence, in order to maintain high levels of client service and accuracy of documentation.
- To cooperate and participate with other team members in ensuring that the smooth running of the office, and any housekeeping tasks, are fully accomplished.
Requirements:
- At least 2/3 years’ experience in Commercial Broking
- The principles, practices and legalities of most major classes of General Insurance.
- Knowledge of a wide range of Commercial Insurance products to include but not restricted to Commercial Combined, Fleet, Property Owners, Cyber, D&O, Employers and Public liability.
