Senior Commercial Account Handler - Employment Specialists Ltd : Job Details

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Account Handler with a rapidly growing specialist Broker who has a great opportunity to work with their loyal Commercial and Corporate Clients.

They want you to have insurance experience, from a Commercial Broking environment, but above all be a positive and confident communicator to enable you to work with and assist their Clients and their enquiries.

The position will entail handling a range of General Commercial Insurance from Quotation stage through to Renewal. You will therefore need to have the drive to get the best possible deal for your clients, as well as a good eye for detail, but also a proactive approach to ensure that you maximise all opportunities of gaining their business.

Key responsibilities of the Commercial Account Handler role include:

• Proactively liaising with Directors and Clients as required on their requirements.
• Advising Clients on renewals, managing relationships with key stakeholders and delivering outstanding service to them.
• Working with Clients to expand and develop their coverage to ensure they have the right cover.
• Liaising with Directors to ensure all documentation is accurate.
• Actively negotiating with Underwriters as required to secure the best terms.
• Working in a compliant and timely manner on all cases.
• Ensuring Retention levels and income targets are achieved.
• Working with the management team to achieve business objectives and support with the development of colleagues

To be successful in this Commercial Account Handler role you will demonstrate:

• 4 + years as a Commercial Account Handler
• Confident communication skills
• Good working knowledge of general Commercial Lines business and the Broking market
• A Can-do attitude with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work to deadlines and multitask in order to get required work carried out
