SENIOR COMMERCIAL INSURANCE UNDERWRITER (PROPERTY & LIABILITY) - One Underwriting : Job Details

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a fast growing MGA with multiple delegated authorities , we have a new opportunity available for a Senior Commercial Underwriter with previous UK based General Commercial Insurance experience in Commercial Combined , Package , Contractors , Tradesman’s Liability and Property Owners.As a Senior Commercial Underwriter, you will support the profitable development of a range of products through your own underwriting experience. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining good working relationships with a panel of brokers across the UK and identifying any new scheme or account expansion opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience:

- A Minimum Proven experience of 5 years in underwriting and trading in our product range (detailed above).- A good technical understanding of insurance underwriting principles.- Excellent communication skills with ability to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues and brokers.- Be a good team player, able to collaborate and work effectively with others.- Organised and able to manage workload effectively.

- Account management experience including any analytical / account performance.
