Senior Commissioning Officer - Panoramic Associates Limited : Job Details

Panoramic Associates has partnered with a local authority to support with their recruitment of a Senior Commissioning Officer to start ASAP in January, within the children's services team.

Role responsibilities:

• Contract management for a number of contracts and re-tendering for a supported accommodation framework.
• Implementing a Quality Assurance framework.
• Line-managing a Contracts Officer.

Experience required:

• Experience of commissioning within local authority children's services is essential for this role.
• Line-management experience and a working knowledge of LAC and what they are entitled to would be an advantage.

This is a hybrid role with monthly onsite attendance for team meetings.The postholder will also be expected to make occasional onsite visits to provisions if/when required for quality assurance.

The assignment will initially be for 3 months, with a view to extend. The client can offer a competitive day rate of £300, paid via an umbrella company. Applicants must be available to start within the next 2-4 weeks. Interviews are expected to take place this week.
