Job Title: Senior Contracts Manager
Location: Amsterdam / Hybrid
Contract: 12-months ongoing
Pay: € 100 to € 120 per hour
My client a huge European Energy Company based in Amsterdam are currently looking for an Interim Senior Contracts Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- To extend the heat network realisation of a Heat Power Station in
- Realization of a large heat pump including the building to facilitate the removal of excess heat from the Data Center.
- The candidate will be expected to perform Contract, Interface management for the aforementioned projects. For this, he will work within the project team with various disciplines and the client's Project Manager.
- His expertise will be required in preparing the documents/tender documents for the ITT (Invitation to Tender). After tender has taken place, ZP-er will manage/lead the project as far as the contractual elements are concerned on the basis of the so-called Contract Documents.
- The goal is to complete the project to the satisfaction of both the client and the contractor within the framework of the contract (organizational, technical, planning and budget). The client's Maintenance and Management department plays a significant role in this. This department will eventually manage/use the completed project.
- The candidate will need to have significant experience in the field of Process, Project, Contract Management.
- Working in teams and in particular knowledge of the various forms of contracts, such as UAV 2012, UAV-gc (integrated contract form of UAV), StaBu). Knowledge in the field of Mechanical, Structural and Civil Engineering is recommended as well as knowledge and experience with data centers
Qualifications/Experience
- 8 years experience in contract manager in new construction/ preferably power plants. Civil construction/ apartment buildings/ works for Rijkswaterstaat
- University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, Legal) or equal level based on relevant training and experience
- Relevant experience in large and complex construction projects, especially during implementation
- Minimum 8 years working experience
- Very good knowledge of English AND Dutch (written and spoken)
- Negotiation, Contracting and Risk Management experience
- Experience within construction or with construction projects beneficial
- Knowledgeable of contract forms. Supportive if experience with other forms e.g. Fidic Silver and Yellow books
- Experience of procurement and/or contract management in energy sector beneficial
- Experience of public procurement processes including knowledge beneficial
- SAP knowledge beneficial
- Good knowledge of working with MS office
