Senior Controls Engineer.Kettering.Up to £60,000 per annum DOE.Day Shifts.We are looking for an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to join the expanding team at our client’s site in Kettering who are a leader in innovative solutions for the automated warehouse and supply chain industry.This is your chance to work on cutting-edge projects that involve designing, developing, and implementing advanced electrical and control systems for automated warehouses. What You'll Do:As a Senior Controls Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by:

• Designing, planning, and developing PLC control solutions to meet project specifications.
• Assisting in the creation of OT layer cyber security solutions.
• Producing detailed technical documentation, project specifications, costings, and time plans.
• Writing Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and ensuring seamless coordination with both Engineering and Systems teams.
• Developing PLC software and HMI code for projects, then commissioning the software on-site.
• Providing valuable support to other departments and contributing to design planning.

What We’re Looking For:

• Expert knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, and Siemens TIA Safety.
• Experience with VFD control, Safety hardware, Barcode readers, and Siemens PLC programming.
• Strong understanding of IEC 61131 standards.
• A degree, HND, or HNC in Engineering, with proficiency in Windows-based systems.
• Completion of a 13849-1 Safety course.
