Senior Credit Risk Consultant (IRB Wholesale)

The Company

I am hiring a Credit Risk Wholesale Consultant one of the UK's largest banks based in London. Within this role you will be bringing your strong wholesale regulatory modelling experience to support the banks through the IRB regulatory landscape.

The Role

As a Senior Credit Risk Consultant, you will be:

• Developing IRB wholesale models end-to-end for different portfolios across the Bank
• Advising different areas of the business on relevant UK and international financial regulations for IRB
• Interpreting model outcomes/results to senior stakeholders both internally and externally
• Managing model processes and projects end-to-end
• Using tools like SAS, SQL, and/or Python daily to develop IRB models for the wholesale portfolios

Your skills and experience

To be successful as a Senior Credit Risk Consultant, you will need:

• Strong experience developing IRB wholesale models
• Ideally, experience working for a consultancy or top UK bank
• Experience leading IRB wholesale model development projects
• Experience with SAS, SQL, Python, and/or R.
• STEM degree from a top university
