Senior Data Analyst (Acquisition and Retention) - Media - £65,000 - £90,000

The Company

A Senior Data Analyst (Acquisition) at one of UK's leading publishers who have a global presence. Part of a larger media group, their brands deliver highly engaging, trusted content to millions of loyal customers around the globe. Their brands reach over 24 million people daily, reaching over 10 million daily readers across the UK.

As a vital member of the highly ambitious analytics team, you'll play an important role in making sure the business has the data they need to drive relentless online traffic growth.

You will have the opportunity to bring continuous improvement, evolution, and best practices of Subscriber Acquisition across multiple famous brands. You will ideally be a subject matter expert (SME) in Customer/Subscriber acquisition for an internet-based organisation and will be intimately familiar with web derived data, providing pivotal guidance and insights required to grow a new part of our business.

The Job

• Work closely with Subscriptions Team to design and implement targeted customer acquisition campaigns based on the insights gained from your data analysis.
• Work with Subscription Team to analyse performance of A/B testing on various acquisition strategies to identify the most effective interventions
• Develop forecasting models to predict future churn rates based on historical data and traffic trends.
• Partner with Product, Editorial, and Customer Success teams to align acquisition strategies with overall business goals.
• Work with CLV models and drive subscription acquisition
• Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to subscriber acquisition from various sources (e.g., website analytics, CRM systems, marketing campaigns).

You

• Strong proficiency with SQL and dashboarding tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Looker)
• At least 4+ years experience in marketing/acquisition analytics
• Great experience and understanding of a subscription business model and ideally a media background
