SENIOR DATA ENGINEER (Scala)

£70,000-£75,000 + BENEFITS

An award winning AI driven software company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expert skills in Scala to join their innovative team.

THE COMPANY:

This Senior Data Engineer role sits within the data team which is a market leader in terms of developing ETL and ML solutions. They are now seeking a passionate SME in Scala to work closely with wider teams to deliver solutions to customers.

THE ROLE:

A Senior Data Engineer will need to:

• Build and maintain services and features
• Design Spark jobs
• Monitor the data collection process via Scala and Java
• Design and implement databases
• Designing models and data warehouses
• Support wider teams in the business

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

A successful Senior Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• Ability and experience interacting with key stakeholders
• Commercial experience in Scala and Java
• Experience with SQL/Python
• Experience with Spark

THE BENEFITS:

You will receive a salary, dependent on experience. Salary is up to £75,000 On top of the salary there are some fantastic extra benefits.
