Job Title: Data Scientist (Contract) - Personalisation & Incrementality

Location: Hybrid (3-4 days per week in office)

Duration: 3 to 6 months

Day rate: £520 per day (outside IR35)

Overview:We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join a high-profile personalisation project for a leading retail company. The project focuses on optimising customer ads based on shopper behaviour. You will help enhance the existing algorithm by focusing on incrementality-pushing additional product recommendations beyond those customers might initially consider.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on the incrementality aspect of the ad algorithm, identifying additional relevant products.
• Enhance personalisation models using SQL, PySpark, and recommender engine techniques.
• Work closely with the Data Science team to improve model accuracy and performance.
• Apply your expertise in data analysis, personalisation, and recommender systems to refine targeting strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience with SQL, PySpark, and data analysis.
• Proven expertise in personalisation models and recommender engines.
• Experience with building and improving incrementality models for ad targeting.
• Familiarity with Generative AI for content creation is a plus.
