This position is for a highly motivated Senior Design Engineer, seeking a challenging role within the industrial/manufacturing sector in Huddersfield.

Description

As the Senior Design Engineer your duties will include however will not be limited to:

• Design and redesign of new and existing products throughout the product lifecycle.
• Calculate and demonstrate requirements to work outside standards, with solutions.
• Signing off designs where appropriate.
• Support manufacture and build outside spec.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate with various departments for project completion.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to other team members.
• Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders.

Profile

The successful Senior Design Engineer should have:

• Worked in a similar design position previously.
• Worked with rotating products within a manufacturing environment ideally
• A degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial engineering principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with CAD software and other design tools.
• A keen eye for detail and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
