Senior Developer

Our financial services client, who provide a bespoke self-serve platform, are expanding their software team and seeking a talented Senior Developer to take on coding and leadership responsibilities.

Role Overview

As a Senior Developer, you will guide the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions. You’ll lead by example, collaborate with stakeholders, provide technical direction, and mentor other developers. This role is perfect for a mid- to senior-level developer ready to step into leadership while honing technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead a small team, set technical direction, review code.
• Hands-On Development: Code and architect solutions using React, React Native, NodeJS, and cloud solutions.
• Mentorship: Guide and provide feedback to team members.
• Project Ownership: Manage projects from concept to completion.
• Collaboration: Work with product, design, and other stakeholders.
• Innovation & Improvement: Enhance development practices.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Strong JavaScript experience with React, React Native, Next.js. Familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript is a plus.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
• Leadership: Previous team management or mentoring experience is desirable. Strong communication skills.
• Preferred Skills: Problem-solving, adaptability, and proactive approach.
