Job Description

As a Senior Developer, you will:

  • Support the Lead Software Engineer and implement digital services using C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the Azure stack.
  • Identify and fix faults in digital services.
  • Mentor and coach developers.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and good practices.
  • Provide expert advice to teams within Digital Services.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team and business stakeholders, fostering good relationshops and responding to views and challenges from others, working in an agile way.
  • Embed modern development practices like BDD, TDD, CI/CD, and DevOps.

Person Specification

To be successful, you will have:

  • Knowledge of .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the Azure stack.
  • Understanding of integration implementations.
  • Experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Experience with modern development practices and workflows.
  • Understanding of web application security and OWASP Top 10.
