Their work is integral to national security, ensuring the UK's safety through a dedicated team of over 450 professionals committed to delivering impactful solutions. About the Role:As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on various challenging projects within the Public Sector, Government, and Defence sectors. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, you will design, implement, and optimize end-to-end DevOps practices. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing software deployment strategies
• Designing and operating automated CICD pipelines
• Creating and managing shared platform services for deployment, operation, and monitoring
• Designing and operating platform services for containerized products
• Writing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Deploying and managing cloud products in both public and private cloud environments
• Supporting and advising teams as they onboard products to shared platform services

The Ideal Candidate:Our client is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to take on new challenges. You will bring the following experience and skills:

• Hands-on experience developing and deploying secure products using appropriate technologies and patterns
• Expertise with AWS or Azure concepts and technologies
• Ability to design and operate highly available shared solutions
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience working with high-level stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Knowledge of technologies such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Packer, Vault, Serverless, Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Artifactory, and Nexus
