Senior Electrical Design EngineerLocation: BirminghamSalary: Up to £55,000 with flexibility

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design solutions, ensuring compliance with technical and legislative requirements. You'll be responsible for de-risking, design validation, and delivering manufacturing-ready designs and working in a growing multi-disciplinary team of Mechanical Design Engineers.

You will be working on the latest technologies with applications in safety-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed electrical schematics and Bills of Materials using SolidWorks or E-Plan.
• Ensure designs meet safety, technical, and legislative standards.
• Produce technical documentation

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in MOD, Aerospace, Defence, or Marine sectors.
• Expertise in Power & Electrical System design, Control & Instrumentation.
• Experience with Variable Speed Drives, Motor Starters, Distribution Systems, PLC & Control Systems.
• FMEA, Safety Assessments, and Testing (NI Hardware & Labview).
• E-Plan or Solidworks.
