JOB – Senior Electrical Project Engineer – Remote, Home based TERM - Permanent SALARY – £55,000 - £65,000 per annum plus benefitsA Derbyshire based engineering company are looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.  The Senior Electrical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 

• BEng or equivalent Electrical Engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
• Strong Electrical background – ideally for power generation, energy or similar.
• Good understanding of softwares such as MATLAB.
• Good understanding of AutoCAD electrical drawing package.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Full UK driving license is beneficial.

The Senior Electrical Project Engineer’s duties will involve:

• Project work.
• Design of electrical systems through to installation.
• Laise with other engineers, departments & also customers to ensure requirements are being met at all times.
• System modelling & simulation work to improve performance of systems.
• Attending site visits when required.
• Ensuring relevant health & safety regulations at all times.
• Providing support for testing, commissioning & troubleshooting when required.
• Based fully remote with travel to sites & facilities when required.
