Our Team
We are looking for an Employee Engagement expert to join our fantastic Performance, Engagement and Development team, within HR & Comms. As a Senior Engagement & Insights Manager, you will play a key role in the enhancement and delivery of our Engagement strategy and contribute to our team's vision to drive positive change via an evidence and data insights-based approach to cultivate an inclusive and high-performing culture and foster exceptional employee experience.
What you'll be doing
- Responsible for managing the smooth running of multiple Employee Engagement initiatives and projects, throughout the project lifecycle from kick-off to project closure.
- Building insights and solutions across other Virgin Money HR data sources using latest software, (e.g. Engagement tool, Excel and Power BI) to effectively measure, monitor and report on culture and engagement insights (e.g. via surveys & Culture Dashboard).
- Proficient use and management of the Engage tool to create and manage Annual MyVoice and Pulse Surveys, and act as central coordinator for survey strategy, design, build, testing, comms, launch, and managing technical aspects of survey platform, efficiently dealing with and resolving stakeholder queries.
- Working with the Engagement Data Analyst, collating, analysing and interpreting data, ensuring they are used effectively across the business to turn insights into impactful actions. Confidently report on results and upskill stakeholders to complete their analysis and reporting.
- Seamlessly deliver Engagement events, ensuring they are meticulously facilitated with clear objectives and themes for each session. Provide accurate insights following the sessions.
- Raising the profile and awareness of the importance of colleague engagement and experience across the Bank, including creating and managing communication plans, provide pragmatic advice and support through commercial acumen and engagement expertise, by continuously learning and keeping abreast of best employee engagement practices in the industry. Identify concerns & areas that contribute to risk to our culture and engagement & report these efficiently.
- Building relationships and work in partnership with team members, HRBPs, Business Engagement Reps and other stakeholders across the Bank at all levels of seniority to ensure high levels of engagement and collaboration.
- Acting as the expert and a trusted partner on colleague engagement for stakeholders to identify how to turn insights into actions, ensuring local accountability, providing deep dive insights on complex issues, and recommendations for action to ensure effective execution of action plans and achievement of results.
We need you to have
- Demonstratable excellent project management skills and experience of executing end-to-end project management and delivering highly successful employee engagement experience initiatives.
- Advance knowledge and experience in using Engagement survey platforms and exceptional MS Excel skills. Extensive experience in operationalising employee experience surveys.
- Strong ability to convert complex data into meaningful insights, confident in interpreting data, creating reports and disseminating results in an accessible way to colleagues at all levels. Accomplished in using data to drive insight and decision making.
- Strong understanding of current and emerging Engagement best practices and legislation and how this can be leveraged, with a good working knowledge and active interest in Employee Engagement and Experience practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, influencing and people skills, with the ability to build business relationships based on trust and partnership and presenting business insights and recommendations to stakeholders throughout the Bank.
- Ability to work on competing deadlines under pressure, prioritising workload and successful delivery of projects, events and reports on time within budget to an exceptional standard.

- Related experience in Banking or Financial Services.
- Experience of working in a HR Centre of Excellence
- A knowledge and practical understanding of Agile project management
