Engineering Supervisor

We are seeking an Engineering Supervisor to support the Compliance Manager in delivering operational management across a diverse portfolio of properties in the Midlands. This role is crucial for managing mobile engineering resources, ensuring compliance with service delivery obligations, and supporting the management of P&L, SLAs, and KPI performance measurements.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Support the Compliance Manager in managing service delivery across the geographical area.
- Manage the mobile engineering team, ensuring appropriate resource levels, with succession and development.
- Serve as the first point of contact for the engineering team.
- Ensure all activities comply with statutory requirements and corporate policies, including Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, and Employment Legislation.
- Conduct site audits.
- Liaise with Central Teams regarding outstanding works.
- Utilise specific knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical building services typical for office locations.
- Operate flexibly across trades and support handyman type activities as part of an effective Professional Maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and plant history.
- Manage team meetings and Tool Box Talks (TBTs).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Substantial experience in multi-site services hard service delivery.
- Relevant qualifications such as BS 7671-18th edition, City & Guilds, NVQ in Mechanical/Electrical fields.
- Experience managing remote engineering teams.
- Proficiency in IT and CAFM Information Management Systems.
- Strong understanding of business critical/technical environments and P&L management.
- Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety related to Total Facilities Management (TFM) services.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in operational management.
- Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel as needed.
