Senior Finance Analyst FP&A

Based: Leeds (hybrid)

Salary: up to £60k + 10% bonus + excellent benefits and opportunities

We are working with a UK leading, well-established Media business based in Leeds. Having recruited a number of roles for the business over the last few years, we are now looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the commercial/FP&A finance function overseeing some exciting & key business units.

Role:

  • Planning & reporting of performance and forward-looking forecasts including KPIs and comparative analysis
  • Business partnering with key stakeholders, offering finance support & analysis to executive on strategic initiatives, business opportunities and ad hoc projects
  • Adding value through insightful analysis, process improvements, increased efficiencies and supporting on wider projects
  • Ensuring stakeholders are up to date regarding actual TYD performance and implications on forecast and budget targets
  • Working with stakeholders to deliver consolidated projections of the business (forecasts, budgets, strategic plans)
  • Working closely with wider Management Accounts function on all deliverables including period results, performance and comparison to expectations
  • Understanding ongoing performance of business units including variance drivers
  • Understanding underlying risks and opportunities in the business that could impact overall P&L position
  • Preparing reporting packs including narrative and comparative performance
  • Building & modelling scenarios with stakeholders and wider finance team
  • Influence and drive decision making through reporting and project support

Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified OR finalist with 1-2 exams remaining
  • Experience in an FP&A and business partnering capacity - essential
  • Experience creating and developing forecasts - essential
  • Financial/Scenario modelling experience - essential
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Able to utilise multiple systems and have a process-improvement mindset
