Senior Finance Analyst (Housing Revenue Account) - Qualserv Consulting : Job Details

My Local Government client is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst with significant Housing Revenue Account (HRA) experience.for an initial 3 month contract based in Wembley.

£500 per day (inside IR35)

3 month, extendable

Essential Experience:

• CCAB-qualified accountant
• Experience of preparing the HRA annual statement of accounts and notes from start to finish and dealing with subsequent audit queries
• Experience of annual housing rent setting and tenants’ service charge reviews
• Knowledge of maintaining financial models for rent setting, service charge reviews and the HRA Business Plan
• Evidence of significant relevant continuing professional development (CPD)
• Experience of providing financial advice and leadership in a large and complex organisation, working with a high degree of professional independence and integrity.
• Experience of advising on managing all aspects of large and complex budgets, delivering significant improvements as a result.
• Experience of preparing accounting statements and statutory statistical returns.
• Experience of contracting for services, providing financial and commercial advice to inform procurement strategy and negotiations.
