Description

Senior Finance Assistant

Accounts Payable and Receivable

• Process invoices, expense claims, and payments accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Manage customer invoices and payments, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.

Financial Reporting and Month-End Close

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Produce and analyze financial reports to support management decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Monitor budget performance, highlighting variances and providing insights.

Profile

A successful Senior Finance Assistant should have:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualification such as AAT
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent accounting software user administration skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
