Senior Finance Business Manager - Butler Rose : Job Details

Butler Rose is working with a well-established organisation in East Devon to recruit a Senior Finance Manager on a fixed-term contract for 18 months. This is a hybrid working role.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, this is a crucial role where you will manage a small team, as well as working with a wide range of stakeholders across the wider business.

Key duties will include:

• Leading and developing a small finance team, working in a business partnering capacity.
• Develop the financial reporting process, ensuring information is communicated effectively across the business.
• Develop monthly management accounts reporting process with increased focus on the balance sheet.
• Provide advice and guidance on capital expenditure.
• Responsible for budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assisting with production of statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors.
• Ensuring strong financial controls are continually in place.
• Work with non-finance departments, providing them financial information to help inform decision making regarding planning and forecasting.

The successful candidate with ideally be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) although those who are QBE or part-qualified with demonstrable experience will also be considered.
