We would love to hear from you!We are looking for two Senior Finance Business Partners to join our Finance and Commercial team on a full time, permanent basis.Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.Your focus will be to deliver strong and effective financial management within your designated Directorate at RBL. You will provide senior financial and commercial support, analysis, challenge and advice to enable decision making on a sound financial basis. Developing trusted relationships with the senior management team and budget holders to ensure financial projections, budgets, forecasts, and business cases are robust and aligned with organisational strategy. Key responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Executive Director, Directors, Heads of Departments and budget holders to support the preparation of long-term strategic plans, annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
- Taking a lead role to ensure that new projects are subject to effective financial planning and commercial control, influence budget holders and provide technical and strategic insight in order to achieve the Directorates’ overall objectives
- Review and challenge draft budgets and forecasts to ensure submissions are complete, accurate, deliver value for money and remain within overall financial framework targets
- To lead the review of the monthly management reports and ensure comprehensive and insightful analysis and commentary on key variances
- Attend monthly management meetings to present consolidated and departmental monthly financial results, drawing out major financial trends and issues.
