This is a highly commercial, data-driven role where you will partner with the Chief Customer Officer, driving financial performance in core landlord activities such as income collection and bad debt management, while ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency across operations.
Description
- Work closely with the Chief Customer Officer, providing financial insights and strategic support.
- Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for income collection and core landlord activities (excluding repairs and maintenance).
- Track financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Analyse and manipulate large financial data sets, ensuring accurate reporting and actionable insights.
- Support and challenge senior stakeholders with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Help shape financial strategy for a £100M+ new homes investment programme.
- Drive value-for-money initiatives, ensuring long-term sustainability.
- Contribute to process improvements, moving beyond routine cost monitoring to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
Profile
The successful Senior Finance Business Partner should have:
- An accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with significant business partnering experience.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyse and manipulate large data sets, extracting meaningful insights.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset - always looking for opportunities to improve.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning within a complex organisation.
- Confidence in working with senior leadership teams, driving financial performance.
- Industry experience in housing, property, banking, audit, or consultancy is beneficial but not essential.
