As a fast-growing and innovative company, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Finance Manager to join their senior management team and drive financial excellence across the organization.

Role Overview: This is a pivotal role within the senior management team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting, and planning. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial stability, optimising cash flow, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including analysis of financial performance.
  • Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to provide insights for business decision-making.
  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Manage invoicing, cash flow forecasting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements and liaise with auditors.
  • Develop and monitor projected budgets to align with business strategy.
  • Manage payroll, pensions, and related financial obligations.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations and ensure all financial controls are in place.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Utilise Xero software for financial management and reporting.
  • Support strategic initiatives and contribute to the financial direction of the business.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a fast-growing business.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with experience in management accounts, FP&A, and statutory reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Experience in cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of payroll, pensions, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid/remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to senior stakeholders.

What We Offer:
