This key position will work closely with the Finance Systems Manager to maintain and develop the core finance system and associated software.
Key responsibilities-
- Maintain and support the finance system, ensuring SLAs are met and outstanding customer service is provided.
- Develop and maintain system business processes, understanding stakeholder and operational needs.
- Coordinate workload and issue prioritisation within the team to reduce risk and provide excellent customer service.
- Responsible for user access and permissions in line with financial regulations.
- Lead the development of the finance system and associated software.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes through system improvements and automation.
- Foster excellent business relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and system users.
- Plan and deliver an accessible training schedule for the group.
- Contribute to compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Ideal candidate-
- Experience in maintaining and developing systems
- Knowledge of underpinning technical infrastructure of Finance Systems
- Proven experience in administering and optimising integrated systems
- Experience in working with major stakeholders
- Experience in providing training to system users with different levels of knowledge
- Strong understanding of financial processes and workflows
- Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence in engagement with stakeholders
- Proactivity in suggesting improvements and new methods of working.
