- Collaborate with management and senior management on group reporting under IFRS.
- Prepare statutory financial statements under FRS 101 and the Companies Act 2006.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on group reporting and management accounting requirements.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate posting of accounting journals.
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of internal control reports for parent entities.
- Support key strategic projects, including the implementation of new accounting requirements.
- Maintain accounting policies and procedures in compliance with IFRS and other relevant standards.
- Assist in the preparation of audit files and provide support for financial statement disclosures.
- Work closely with other finance teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, or ACA)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience in the financial services industry is desirable but not a necessity.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with prudential requirements is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with a hands-on approach.
