Senior Financial Accountant - Vitae Financial Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Our client, a well-known brand with a fantastic reputation for quality and customer loyalty, is looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant on contract basis until summer 2025. We're looking for a technically strong and astute Accountant, to play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Management Team and ensuring statutory reporting requirements for the group are met.This is a hybrid role with 2 - 3 days expected in the office.Main duties include:* Planning, coordination & oversight of the statutory close including Statutory accounts production * Consolidation of companies results for Group results * IFRS 16 accounting* Planning, coordination of delivery of all elements & management of the Audit to a 3 month completion * Quarterly VAT reporting & submissions;* Oversight of the management accounting for the smaller trading companyKey skills & experience required:* Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with 3 year+ post qualified experience ideally in a similar role * Experience in Statutory accounts production and audit coordination * Strong core finance accounting skills particularly in management, Statutory accounts production and disclosures, and consolidations * Working Tax knowledge* Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of building sustainable relationships * Positive and proactive attitude, self starter and team playerThis is a promising opportunity for a talented accountant, well versed with the year end and audit process, to join a highly sought after brand that only adds value to a CV.
