Senior Financial Accountant - Robert Half : Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join a global Technology company that is going through a scale-up. You will manage financial accounting and reporting ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

The Senior Financial Accountant will report directly into the Senior Group Accountant, is a hybrid role based in Soho.

Senior Financial Accountant Responsibilities:

• Manage a small team of junior accountants

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts

• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes

• Review balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with the coordination of year-end statutory audit requests

• Assist with the coordination of outsourced payroll providers and liaise with tax advisors
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis

Ideal Senior Financial Accountant skillset:

• Are a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with at least 2-3 years post-qualification experience
• Have an excellent knowledge and application of IFRS
• Possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Have experience managing complex accounting issues with senior stakeholders
• Are proficient detail-oriented, and highly motivated to drive process improvements
• Have excellent organisational and time-management skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• You are collaborative, humble and a problem-solver
