Senior Financial Reporting Accountant - Portfolio Payroll : Job Details

Portfolio Payroll are supporting a global client in Liverpool, seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis for 12 months.

This role is hybrid and offers a day rate of up to £275 per day (Inside IR35).

Key duties of the role include;

• Working with different areas of the business including 3rd party entities and Financial BP's
• Preparation of journals, post accruals and reclassifications
• Performing reconciliations, and identifying and rectifying issues within the system
• Process allocations incl. Superannuation & benefit queries, journal entries, balance accounts etc.
• Involvement with entity budgets and forecasts
• Analysis and report on variances

Person Specification;

• Degree / Qualification within the accountancy/finance field
• 5+ years experience within accounting and finance
• Be able to hit the ground running with minimal to no input
• Collaborative and pro active approach
• Be available on a short notice / Immediately available

The role will become permanent for the right individual, following the temporary period of up to 12 months.
