Please ensure you have completed the company’s application process on their platform to fully apply.About our clientOur client is an established mid-market private equity investor that is looking to bring on a Senior Financial Reporting Manager to support the Head of Finance on the oversight of financial reporting for the UK entities. The role will have oversight of the financial reporting team and be responsible for budgeting and forecasting, oversight of financial reporting, oversight of UK regulatory reporting, oversight of treasury responsibilities and support the team on group finance projects. What the job involves
  • Oversight and review of financial statement preparation
  • Oversight of the audit for UK entities
  • Oversight of the budgeting, forecasting and analysis processes
  • Oversight of UK regulatory reporting
  • Preparation and review of quarterly board packs for management
  • Oversight of treasury activities: invoicing and payments, management of debt facilities and drawdowns
  • Supporting the Head of Finance in transformation of existing finance processes across the group function
  • Establishment and development of additional internal controls for best practice
  • Continuous improvement and automation of accounting and treasury processes in the company
  • Assessment of current processes in order to permanently improve current business controls and systems
Who we are looking for
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Strong experience in group or financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting and analysis processes
  • Experience in managing or oversight of a team
  • Financial services experience is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
