The Senior Fire Engineer Role

As a Senior Fire Engineer, you will report directly to the Head of Fire Engineering. You will be responsible for self-managing projects, liaising directly with clients, and coordinating with other stakeholders to ensure client expectations are met efficiently and effectively. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including developing fire strategies, compartmentation, and escape planning.

You will be working within sectors such as Educational, Commercial, Hi-Rise, and Residential, maintaining compliance with all fire regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive fire strategies
• Plan compartmentation and escape routes
• Manage projects independently and liaise directly with clients
• Lead client-facing meetings with confidence
• Stay updated with fire regulations and compliance standards
• Engage in business development activities

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Fire Engineer
• Degree in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience with FREAW'S (Fire Risk Evaluations and Assessments for Workplaces)
• Proven track record in the Residential and Commercial sectors
• Strong business development skills
• Ability to lead and manage client relationships effectively
