Senior FP&A Analyst - Robert Walters : Job Details

Are you an FP&A analyst with 5+ years' accountancy and finance experience? have you got experience working within a retail / FMCG company? Are you hoping to develop your career within an established brand? My client is currently looking for a senior FP&A analyst to join their west London team.

The role is responsible for providing financial analysis and insight on key BBU initiatives across the business unit. This includes maintaining key databases and ensuring data integrity. The role FP&A focussed and involves producing high-quality analysis of monthly business performance, preparing financial models, and assisting in the global consolidation of forecasting, budgeting, and long-range plans. The Finance Analyst will also be involved in processing ad hoc requests within the Global BBU FP&A team. Additionally, the role is responsible for producing reporting, ensuring a consistent and timely approach for monthly reports and budgets, provide analysis and insight to support decision-making and the implementation of strategic, marketing, and commercial decisions within the business.Role Purpose:

• Provide financial analysis and insight on key initiatives
• Maintain key databases and ensure data integrity
• Produce high-quality analysis of monthly business performance
• Assist in global consolidation of forecasting, budgeting, and long-range plans
• Produce consistent and timely reporting
• Provide analysis and recommendations to support decision-making

Accountabilities:

• Monthly management accounting and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Deliver monthly flash reporting and consolidated reporting with commentary
• Support planning and coordination of finance processes
• Business partner across teams, conducting monthly reviews and consolidating risks and operations
• Provide ad hoc finance support and analysis
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset
• Support FP&A Finance Manager and assist with reporting tools and system upgrades

Requirements:

• Degree educated
• Experience working in a retail / FMCG company
• Currently studying for ACCA/ CIMA with a determination to complete imminently.
• Ambitious
• Analyst and FP&A experience
