Senior Graphic Designer - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyHays are representing a leading manufacturing company in Cookstown to recruit a Senior Graphic Designer. This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced designer who loves being hands-on but is looking for additional responsibility and to help support the rest of the team.Your new roleAs Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for overseeing design and creative work for our client's group businesses. You'll be designing and creating artwork and assets for a variety of digital and print materials to support new product launches, marketing campaigns, website graphics and content for the group and their brands.You will be responsible for:

• Playing a key part of the creative team, pushing the boundaries of both print and digital design.
• Transforming the requirements of the brand management teams to produce a powerful design that works across both print and digital.
• Collaborating and contributing to the creative process.
• Ensuring that a high quality of creative work is upheld, maintaining consistently high standards for all our brands.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5 years+ design experience in a creative environment.
• Have an exceptional portfolio and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong typographic and conceptual skills.
• A strong understanding and ability to adhere to brand guidelines where applicable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Understand the end-to-end print design and production process.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to self-manage time and multiple projects from brief to completion.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• A team player who can collaborate on multiple large projects with the ability to give and take feedback and direction.Desirable:
• Experience working with video content / video editing.
• Experience working with web design.
