- Able to tailor support and guidance to suit varying levels of expertise within the organisation, ensuring all individuals receive the right level of coaching and advice.
- A positive leader who reassures, motivates, and acts as a supportive influence across the HR team and wider business.
- Comfortable constructively challenging the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver HR projects, including wellbeing initiatives, the disability commitment, pension project, and the colleague forum.
- Use data and KPIs to measure the success of these projects, ensuring business objectives are met and improvements are sustainable.
- Develop detailed project plans, considering timelines, stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, and resource allocation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure HR projects are aligned with the needs of the business.
- Coach and support people managers on complex Employee Relations (ER) matters and HR policies.
- Review, improve, and ensure HR practices and procedures are legally compliant and fit for purpose.
- Present updates and insights to the Board as required, using data to back up recommendations and outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong HR generalist with proven experience managing and delivering HR projects.
- Ability to demonstrate success through KPIs and data-driven decision-making.
- A solid track record of leading HR change projects, such as wellbeing programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, policy updates, and systems implementation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
