Day-to-day of the role:
- Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and queries.
- Recruitment: Coordinate job postings, shortlist CVs, and manage the interview process.
- Inductions: Conduct initial onboarding sessions for new hires.
- Sickness and Absence Management: Oversee and manage employee absences.
- Training: Source new training providers and ensure mandatory training is completed.
- Disciplinary & Grievance Procedures: Manage and coordinate disciplinary and grievance procedures effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous HR experience within the construction sector.
- Good working knowledge of employment law.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced office environment.
