Youll have good recognition, understanding andimplementation of ‘clean as you go” policies that are in place Reporting tothe Production Manager this hands on role involves a wide variety of tasksfrom an operational and compliance perspective. You will need to have highstandards and be expected to lead by example.This is a varied opportunity, where you will support in maintaining health andsafety requirements to implement the site hygiene policy but also in activelysetting a positive, upbeat, safe environment for our colleagues. Youll haveexcellent written and verbal communication skills to listen, follow andcascade instructions from the Production Managers directive. As SeniorHygienist youll be allocating jobs out to the other hygiene team members;passing on instruction to other members of the hygiene team as shifts crossover to ensure duties are completed to a high standard in accordance to theCIC’s (cleaning instruction cards), procedures, and policies, completing theassociated paperwork accordingly.As Senior Hygienist youll understand the handlinguse of appropriatechemicals and hold a valid COSHH certification (provided if necessary). Ourteam will be using hand-held ATP swabbing device to check hygiene standards ofareas defined in the schedule when necessary. Also required to completeroutine fogging as determined by schedule and timing (where possible) andensure overall chemical segregation is maintained and chemical supply stockcontrol is completed.Duties will be carried out in both a chilled or hot production area, full PPEwill be provided. You can expect this role to involve some lifting and thereis bending, stretching, and standing depending on the activity therefore youneed to be physically fit.
