Senior ICP Scientist - VRS Recruitment : Job Details

Seeking accomplished ICP Analysts keen to progress into a senior method development role!

Joining as a Senior Scientist, you will undertake projects within the food & drinks testing sector, specialising in the analysis of trace metals and minerals within a variety of matrices. You will work with both ICP-MS and ICP-OES instrumentation, utilising previous experience to work autonomously, where a large proportion of your responsibilities will include developing and improving novel methods as well as taking the lead for any instrument troubleshooting and maintenance required of our clients’ brand-new Agilent kit. In addition, you will support your direct manager in coordinating the team and scheduling of the day-to-day workload.

To be considered you must have:

• A minimum of 5 years ICP-MS/OES experience, within a fast paced CRO environment
• Strong experience developing or optimising methods
• Experience undertaking instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
• Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
