Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Bristow Holland : Job Details

Bristow Holland is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking business based in Ipswich.

This role offers the flexibility of 50% remote working, providing an excellent balance between office collaboration and working from home. As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining robust IT infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on security, availability, and business continuity. You'll also be instrumental in ensuring disaster recovery environments are regularly tested and fully functional.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert 3rd line support for complex technical issues
• Lead on Systems Architecture and Design, ensuring scalability and security
• Oversee Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies, including regular testing
• Implement and maintain strong Cyber Security practices
• Manage Change Management and adhere to governance protocols

Key Skills & Experience:

• Expert knowledge of Active Directory, Federation Services, Exchange, and the wider Microsoft Server product family in an enterprise environment
• Strong experience with the Microsoft Cloud platform including Entra ID, Azure, and related services
• In-depth expertise in virtualisation platforms such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware
• Solid understanding of network hardware configuration and management (routers, firewalls, TCP/IP)
• Proficiency in Veeam Backup & Replication for data protection and recovery
• Knowledge of multifactor authentication systems to enhance security protocols
