Senior Investment Risk Specialist - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Job PurposeThis leading WealthManager are looking for an experienced Senior Investment Risk Specialist tomanage investment risk analytics for various client portfolios and funds.Supporting decision-making and develop internal controls. Collaborate withsenior stakeholders and handle ad-hoc projects.Key Responsibilities

• Lead fund risk analytics (market risk, liquidity, scenarios, performance metrics).
• Oversee private client portfolio risk analytics.
• Recommend changes to risk analytics based on best practices and regulations.
• Work with Fund Operations and Investment Oversight teams to implement changes.
• Advise Fund Managers on portfolio construction.
• Present periodic product reviews to internal committees.
• Support investment limits recommendations.
• Handle ad-hoc projects and analyses.

Key Skills and Experience

• Experience in analytical, quantitative, or risk management roles.
• Knowledge of multi-asset class investments and financial markets.
• Familiarity with risk decompositions, sensitivities, scenarios, and limits.
• Experience with portfolio analytics systems, especially Aladdin and Bloomberg.
• SQL, Python, VBA skills are a plus.
