Job Location : Kibworth Beachamp, UK
We are seeking a Senior IT Technician to join the central team of an innovative, high performing multi-academy trust with schools across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The Senior IT Technician will support four schools on their technical services strategy to support the delivery of excellent teaching and learning and related admin functions.
Main responsibilities;
The successful candidate will be educated to at least 'GCSE’ standard with English and Maths at level C or above, together with a qualification in a related field. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of technologies employed in schools, ideally from experience as a Senior IT Technician in a large organization. You will have a good understanding of statutory requirements and legislation relating to the use of technology to safeguard both children and staff.
An advanced user of Microsoft Office, the Senior IT Technician will analyse data confidently and possess excellent written, oral, interpersonal & negotiation skills. You will be able to produce accurate work with a keen eye for detail, working flexibly to meet deadlines and responding to unplanned situations.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle will be required for this role.
