Senior Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £47,000pa + shift allowance + project bonuses

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to take the lead in supporting job resourcing, planning / prioritising, repairs, preventative and continual development of all production equipment within the mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control scope of the Engineering Department.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing maintenance, calibration, repairs, and setup of production equipment while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Communicate work instructions and prioritise activities to align with production plans and business needs
- Oversee maintenance, calibration, repairs, and setup of production equipment, ensuring compliance with guidelines and practices
- Engage with planning activities to support priorities, resources, and maintenance requirements
- Document shift handovers and important information for effective communication
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and procedures
- Ensure safe working practices in accordance with legislation and company requirements
- Make technical decisions and support the development of the team
Qualifications
- HNC or equivalent formal qualification in the main discipline
- Full indentured apprenticeship with experience and additional study
- A strong Multi-skilled background - both Mechanical and Electrical skills are required
- A 17th / 18th Edition would be preferred, but this is not essential
- Experience of taking the lead within a team
- Ability to perform Engineering and Maintenance activities to a high standard on Pharmaceutical and associated equipment
- GMP training and experience is preferred
- Experience within Pharma / Food / Brewery / Dairy / Petrochemical industries
- Flexibility to work a double-days shift pattern
