Senior Management Accountant - CMC Consulting Limited : Job Details

CMC Consulting have partnered with a PE backed retail business who are initiating the next stage of its deal cycle. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the financial control function for a qualified accountant. Joining as a Management Accountant, you will have various responsibilities, with opportunities to grow within the business. Duties include:

• Production of the monthly management accounts
• Production of periodic accounts in accordance with IFRS
• Review of monthly accounts vs budget and last year; providing key commentary and analysis of variances
• Ensuring accurate accounting for all new CAPEX and existing capital assets to enable the business to make progressive decisions
• Ownership of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process
• Partnering with non-finance colleagues to translate financial language to develop their understanding of reports
• Assisting with year-end processes, including year-end audit

The ideal candidate will be a technically robust individual with a professional accounting qualification. You will have strong communication skills partnering with non-finance stakeholders, to work to tight deadlines.
