Senior Management Accountant - Rutherford Briant : Job Details

Rutherford Briant are recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant near to Victoria. This is a newly created role due to growth. As the Senior Management Accountant you will be supporting the Financial Controller with escalations from the team whilst producing of management accounts.

Typical duties

• Assistance in the production of monthly management accounts for various group companies
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the accounts working
• Daily review of sales and purchase ledgers to identify problems and resolve queries.
• Managing short term cashflow including foreign currency and intercompany transfers
• Liaising with auditors for the year end accounts.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly VAT returns
• Being the first port of call for other members of the finance team in need of assistance
• Assisting the Finance Director with ad-hoc projects

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and have experience of the preparation of management accounts. A first move out of practice will also be considered from either Audit or Accounts Preparation.
