Senior Management Accountant - Grafton Banks Limited : Job Details

Grafton Banks Finance is recruiting a Management Accounting Manager for a growing c£70m revenue business in Crawley (3 days onsite and 2 remote per week). You will need to be a fully qualified accountant working in a similar role or from practice with accounts preparation experience and looking for a first move into industry.

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will take responsibility for:

• Control the preparation of month-end management accounts and Management Information Pack, for key stakeholders, against deadlines
• Coordinate with the team to control the close process for ledgers monthly Day +1
• Responsibility for Intercompany Accounts with reconciliation – monthly
• Investigate variance to Budget and deliver commentary providing clear explanation
• Develop and maintain, robust processes and internal controls
• Provide information and support for external Audit
• Report Cash Flow monthly – with commentary
• Liaise with FC & CFO for delivery of all company management reporting
• Support the budget process, annually, and forecast quarterly
• Business partner internal functions on budget v spend, costs and variances
