This role comes with a base salary up to £47,500 DOE, plus 10% pension & up to 10% bonus - so a package value of c£55,000.

Anthony Cole Associates are pleased to be partnering with a nationwide Property / Real Estate organisation that supply essential services to the country. Due to an upcoming leave for maternity, they are looking to hire a Senior Management Accountant to join them asap on an initial 12m FTC.

This will be a challenging but highly rewarding role that will be mainly REMOTE BASED, however the ability to travel to the client’s main offices in London / The Midlands / The Northwest or one of the 300 buildings located nationally 2 days a week is required.

The Senior Management Accountant will be a key member of the Management Accounts assisting the Finance Manager with process improvement, reviews, and controls of management accounts. The role requires solid technical accounting expertise (finalist or qualified accountant), with advanced Excel skills and ideally knowledge of Sage and Oracle, alongside demonstrative experience in process improvement with ability to lead in various transformation projects. The Senior Management Accountant will take leadership and directly manage 2 members of the Management Accounts Team.

Key responsibilities include:-

  • Overseeing the month end close
  • Leading transformation projects within the MA Team
  • Reviewing aged balance sheet items
  • P&L Analysis and leading in Estates budgets.
  • The post holder will liaise with internal and external customers as required.
  • Analyse Oracle/Sage to create meaningful and insightful information.

The ideal candidate profile is:-

Essential

  • A fully or part-qualified accountant, with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant management accounting experience in a Project Accounting environment
  • Some experience supervising/managing a small team
  • Competent Excel user (Pivot tables, v-lookups etc.)
  • Experience working in a business going through some kind of significant change event (Transformation, Systems Implementation etc.)
  • Evidence of on-going continuous professional development.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively and apply concentrated effort to deliver results on time.
  • High level numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to pay rigorous attention to detail.
  • Able to readily understand new and complex subjects.

Salary : 45000 - 55000
