Senior Management Accountant - Robert Walters : Job Details

Robert Walters are excited to be representing a highly successful Private Equity Backed company as they embark on an ambitious growth journey, doubling revenues in the past 18 months. Following a series of significant acquisitions, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their team at their state-of-the-art offices in South Manchester.

Reporting directly to the Divisional Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the successful completion of month end management accounts for a key entity in the group. You will join a highly inquisitive organisation on an ambitious growth journey, driven by significant market opportunities and strategic acquisitions.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the end-to-end management accounts of one of the business' core trading entities. Your commitment to ensuring the integrity of financial data will be crucial in this role. You will manage month-end reporting timelines, prepare management accounts, provide insightful analysis, and ensure adherence to financial reporting policies. Your ability to assist with cash flow forecasting will also be key.

• Oversee and be responsible for end-to-end management accounts of core trading entities.
• Ensure integrity of financial data.
• Manage month-end reporting timelines and tasks.
• Prepare management accounts including journal postings and group reporting pack.
• Provide insightful analysis and commentary of performance and variances to expectations from budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to Group's financial reporting policies and processes.
• Business partner with Group Treasury team with cash flow forecasting where required.

What you bring:

• Fully qualified accounting professional (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Experience in delivering management accounts from start to finish
• Proven ability to deliver under pressure
• Great communication skills with ability to interact across all levels of the business
• Strong understanding of financial systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics preferred
• Highly proficient in Excel
